A statement of the chain of descent preserved by the family, from the contemporary generation back to the last known ancestor kept by the family, or to the founding ancestor to which its available information extends.

If you have an inquiry concerning the lineage of your family, or a wish to have the authenticity of your genealogical connection lawfully verified and your chain of descent examined, you may send your inquiry to us by email, and we will forward it to the office of His Eminence Sayyid Hussain Abu Sa'idah (may God preserve him) in the Holy Najaf, where it will be studied by the office, and the reply will reach you through the same email.
Please include the following information in your message:
A statement of the chain of descent preserved by the family, from the contemporary generation back to the last known ancestor kept by the family, or to the founding ancestor to which its available information extends.
A statement of the regions and countries in which the family has resided across its generations, and what the family knows of movements and migrations from one homeland to another, mentioning the times and places wherever possible.
A mention of the genealogical or other documents held by the family that may be relevant to the research, such as title deeds, sale contracts, correspondences, licenses (ijazat), endowments (waqf) and similar, indicating the oldest piece preserved.
